David is a NYC based filmmaker/director/producer/writer and aspiring inventor that has worn hats above and below the line.

He recently completed his 3rd film, the touching and heartwarming LOVE BIRDS. His trilogy, the dystopian Sci-Fi DESTINY ONE, and the madcap, feel good, A WORK OF ART (a divine comedy) placed at the top of two highly respected screenwriting contests. A Work of Art has since been adapted for the Broadway stage. In addition, several of his one act plays have been selected to be been part of Off-Off Broadway festivals.

David attended NYU’s film program and is a life long student of Behavioral Psychology and Communications. In his formative years he was courted by college recruiters for his skill to pitch a baseball. But nowadays divides his time between filmmaking, writing, developing and pitching screenplays instead.

David pays homage to Dogme 95 and the idea that the budget doesn’t necessarily determine whether a piece is emotionally satisfying. One of his favorite quotes is: “If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.” He looks forward to future collaborations.
